Transparency in Coverage Rule and Machine Readable Files Requirement

New legislation went into effect this year regarding health plans and insured member claims, benefits and costs.  The No Surprises Billing took effect January 1, 2022, and the Machine Readable Files (MRF’s) become effective July 1, 2022.  MRFs list the cost of services and will be updated quarterly by insurance companies. They require us to post a link on our website by July 1, 2022.  There hasn’t been any guidance for that from our healthcare provider, UnitedHealthcare – just that we have to put a link on our site: transparency-in-coverage.uhc.com
