The Office of the Provost for Southern Methodist University (SMU) is responsible for the overall quality of teaching, scholarship and research at the University and oversees all aspects of academic life, ranging from admissions and faculty development to supervision of SMU’s eight schools, library system, and international programs. In 2021, SMU has been working towards fulfilling its 10-year strategic plan (even though there Is no true “end” to it). Eisenberg produced an annual report for the Office of the Provost for donors and stakeholders, to socialize their strategic plan and demonstrate the transformation taking place. The tangram concept using Peruna, the SMU mascot, was also carried out on their capital campaign.
