The Forney EDC is located in the City of Forney, Texas, located 21 miles east of Downtown Dallas and only five miles from Interstate 20. Forney has a lower cost of living and a small-town feel but has the infrastructure to support commercial industries. In addition, Forney is retail-ready and has an excellent school district to support additional residents and support an increase in employment. Eisenberg created a guide and map, including aerial mapping, for 2020-2021, to catalyze Forney’s continued success of the commercial/industrial real estate development interest and serve as a resource to businesses, developers and residents.
