Denbury Resources 2012 Annual Report

With its Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) strategy using CO2, Denbury Resources is not your typical oil and gas company. After selling some of its non-core assets and acquiring assets that were a strategic fit while remaining focused in the Gulf Coast and Rocky Mountain regions, Denbury wanted investors to see that the company is a “PURE” play in 2012 and going forward. The annual report highlighted its commitment to its strategy using the letters P (proven process), U (unique strategy), R (repeatable growth) and E (environmentally responsible) and also reinforced their strategy through graphs, charts and maps. The PURE theme was also carried through into internal messaging and used for their Dallas Morning News Top 100 Places to Work advertising and video.
